On this page, you’ll meet Elena and her legendary Spanish Desserts! Elena’s  inspiration comes from her mother and small family growing up in Zamora, Spain. Elena remarks on the first time her mother prodded her to craft arroz con leche (rice pudding). With the reinforcement of her family, Elena became a talented dessert chef. She learned from a young age that to share the taste of her family, she’d have to curate housemade desserts herself.

According to the Valpo Restaurant Group, Elena’s Spanish desserts have helped make downtown Valparaiso a destination as one of Chicago’s best desserts!
